Wouter Sibum is an artist who makes performances, video, objects, installations, photographs and artistic interventions with a special interest in context related art. The major content of his work deals with questions of perspective and possible positions of perception.

He was born in Amsterdam (NL) in 1980. In July 2005 Sibum graduated from Minerva Art Academy Groningen (NL). He participated in MFA programme 'Public Art and New Artistic Strategies'of the Bauhaus University Weimar (GER) and graduated in 2009.

Currently he lives and workes in Hoorn [Noord-Holland], a small city above Amsterdam.

Wouter is also a curator and coördinator. He just started working at HMK {Hotel MariaKapel} and he is making preparations for curating a project in public space for VhDG in Leeuwarden. In the past he co-initiated and curated the MediumGallery in Groningen.
